Çorum FK dismisses manager Uğur Uçar and pursues stadium lease
Çorum FK has announced the departure of technical director Uğur Uçar following a period of inconsistent performance in the Süper Lig. Despite leading the club to its first-ever promotion to the top flight, Uçar's recent record in the current season includes only two wins, one draw, and three losses in six matches, leaving the team in 11th place with seven points.
During his overall tenure, Uçar maintained a positive average of 2.00 points per match, securing 14 wins in 23 appearances. The club is now searching for a new manager to stabilize the squad.
Separately, Çorum FK is finalizing a legal process to lease its stadium through the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. Once the lease is approved by the Ministry in Ankara, the club aims to strengthen its financial structure through stadium revenues, advertising, and a planned stadium name sponsorship project.
