Çorum Municipality begins second phase of urban transformation

The Çorum Municipality has entered the second phase of the Kale/Gülabibey Neighborhood 1st Stage Urban Transformation Project. This initiative aims to create a more resilient, safe, and planned urban structure against disasters.

Following the initial phase of negotiations with owners of parcels containing structures, the municipality has begun reconciliation talks with owners of vacant parcels. Officials have warned that failure to reach an agreement or sign the necessary letters of consent may result in the properties being subject to a sale process in accordance with legal procedures.

The municipality emphasized that once this stage is passed, rights holders will not have the opportunity to rejoin the project. To ensure transparency and equality, the municipality stated that the same criteria and conditions are being applied to all owners without distinction, and that offers will not be revised or changed based on the timing of a signature.
