Oruro municipality announces new infrastructure projects for 2027

The Autonomous Municipal Government of Oruro has announced plans to incorporate new infrastructure projects into its 2027 Annual Operating Plan (POA). Mayor Iván Quispe stated that the administration intends to balance the completion of inherited works from previous management with new initiatives across various districts.

To ensure continuity, the municipality is addressing increased costs for ongoing projects caused by national price updates. Planned developments for 2027 include the construction of underpasses in District 1, a Cretaceous Park and a water park in Districts 2 and 3, and the opening of a new entrance for urban developments in District 5.
