Orvieto's Castellana 2026 race reaches 200 participants

The Castellana 2026 hill climb race has surpassed expectations, reaching a milestone of 200 registered participants. Luigi Scarpelli da Castrovillari is officially recorded as the 200th entrant.

This turnout is considered significant given various challenges, including the race date and the perceived lack of attractiveness of the CIVM validity. Organizers attribute this success to excellent coordination, the scenic race route, and strong support from the Orvieto local administration.

The event will be officially presented on Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the city council chamber, featuring guest journalist and writer Mario Donnini. Additionally, several participating vehicles will be displayed in Orvieto's main squares to preview the upcoming ‘Birra e Motori’ event in Piazza del Popolo.
