ORY+ AI platform launched in Morocco to support mental health care
A Moroccan team of researchers and medical specialists has launched ORY+, an artificial intelligence platform designed to support mental health professionals. The system was officially presented in Tamesna on October 10, coinciding with World Mental Health Day.
Developed over four years of research, the platform integrates clinical, administrative, and organizational tools into a unified digital environment. It aims to improve the coordination of care, facilitate the exchange of medical information, and assist in managing patient records. The system includes diagnostic support tools for 159 different mental disorders, medical report generation, and access to over one thousand therapeutic exercises.
Hassnae Remmach, a doctor specializing in computer science and artificial intelligence, noted that the platform was built using algorithms developed by multidisciplinary Moroccan teams and adheres to international scientific and medical standards. Jaafar El Idrissi Tafraouti, Medical Director of La Vallée Clinic, stated that the implementation of ORY+ will help coordinate various hospital components, including medical, pharmaceutical, and nursing staff, thereby saving time and improving patient care.
