A 60-year-old man was arrested in the Osaim area of Giza, Egypt, after allegedly killing his 55-year-old wife during a domestic dispute.
According to security reports, the incident occurred in the Bashtil neighborhood. Following a heated argument, the suspect reportedly restrained the victim with ropes and assaulted her using an electric wire and a wooden stick. The victim sustained severe injuries, including head trauma and various bruises, which led to her death.
Local police responded to the scene and apprehended the suspect approximately five hours after he fled the residence. Upon interrogation, the man confessed to the crime, citing marital disputes as the motive. The Public Prosecution has ordered a forensic examination of the body to determine the exact cause of death and is continuing its investigation.
