Osaka luxury hotels celebrate 40th anniversaries with gourmet offerings

Major luxury hotels in Osaka are celebrating their 40th anniversaries with specialized culinary and beverage offerings.

Hotel New Otani Osaka, which opened in 1986, is marking its 40th year with various gastronomic initiatives. These include special French cuisine events led by Executive Chef Hiroyuki Koide and the seasonal return of its signature ‘Super Mont Blanc’ dessert. The hotel is also offering themed accommodation plans that allow guests to enjoy premium sweets while overlooking Osaka Castle.

Simultaneously, Hilton Osaka is commemorating four decades of operation by introducing a limited-edition private cask whisky. The spirit is sourced from the Sakurao Distillery in Hiroshima Prefecture and was selected by Hilton Osaka’s General Manager Mark Meany. The cask-strength whisky will be available at the hotel’s various dining venues, including Centrum Grill & Wine and Kawaume Kaiseki/Sushi.
