Osasco: Young man killed after robbing police delegate

A mother has expressed her grief on social media following the death of her 19-year-old son, Peterson Oliveira, in Osasco, within the metropolitan region of São Paulo.

Oliveira was shot and killed by an off-duty Military Police officer after he allegedly robbed a Civil Police delegate and the delegate's wife on Saturday, August 22. The mother, Vanessa Caroline, stated that she did not condone her son's involvement in criminal activity and blamed his choices and a desire for material wealth for the tragedy. She noted that she had consistently worked to support the household and had repeatedly warned him against such paths.
