Osasuna appoints José Antonio Prieto as new sporting director

Osasuna has officially presented José Antonio Prieto, known as ‘Cata’, as the club’s new sporting director. Prieto succeeds Braulio Vázquez, taking over a role he has been involved with for nine years within the club. His contract is set to run until 2029.

Prieto’s strategic vision focuses on maintaining continuity while strengthening the club’s youth academy. He emphasized the importance of key players, describing striker Budimir as “the best center forward in the history of Osasuna” and expressing confidence in the long-term potential of right-back Iñigo Arguibilde.

The presentation took place at the club's facilities in the presence of the Board of Directors, club employees, and media representatives.
