Osasuna appoints new sporting director and signs Pablo Iturria

Osasuna is implementing several changes within its sporting structure. José Antonio Prieto, known as ‘Cata’, has officially taken over as the club's new sporting director following the departure of Braulio Vázquez. In his initial statements, Prieto emphasized the importance of maintaining stability within the existing work structure and expressed a commitment to retaining key players, specifically noting that the club will make every effort to ensure Ante Budimir continues with the team.

In terms of player acquisitions, the club has reached an agreement to sign midfielder Pablo Iturria Moral. Iturria, a left-footed midfielder currently playing for UD Mutilvera, will join Osasuna Promesas starting in January. The agreement includes a fixed term of two and a half seasons, with an option for the club to unilaterally extend the contract for an additional two years. Iturria, who previously spent time in the Osasuna academy before playing for Athletic, is noted for his physical capacity and tactical positioning.
