Osasuna lifts Ante Budimir's release clause to €20 million
Croatian striker Ante Budimir, who is under contract with CA Osasuna until 2027, has had his release clause increased. After a summer window that allowed a reduced fee, the clause has reverted to €20 million, up from the €12 million figure set earlier in the season and the €8 million level previously. The change secures Osasuna’s negotiating position and protects the club from opportunistic offers.
Budimir, the club’s top foreign scorer in La Liga and a key figure in the dressing‑room, remains a central part of Osasuna’s attack as they aim for European competition. He is also a regular in the Croatia national team and is slated to feature at the 2026 World Cup. Interest from larger clubs such as Real Madrid has been reported, but the new clause underscores Osasuna’s intent to retain their leading forward.
