Osborne Clarke opens new Frankfurt office to boost private capital services
International law firm Osborne Clarke has expanded its European presence by opening a new office in Frankfurt, Germany. The move, which began on September 1, 2024, aims to bolster the firm's capabilities in private capital, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
To lead the new venture, the firm appointed Johannes Goossens, a former partner at White & Case with nearly 15 years of experience in complex cross-border transactions. The Frankfurt office is strategically located to serve the private capital ecosystem and provide proximity to the European Central Bank and other regulatory authorities.
The expansion will be implemented in phases, initially establishing a focused team of up to 20 lawyers. This development coincides with the firm's 25th anniversary in Germany and is intended to meet growing client demand for specialized advice on strategic transactions and complex transformation projects.
