Oscar D’León urges solidarity for Venezuela at Medellín concert
Oscar D’León performed in Medellín, Colombia, during his latest concert. While the band played the Venezuelan patriotic song "Alma Llanera," the singer took the hands of his team and addressed the audience, delivering a heartfelt message of support to Venezuelans still coping with the twin earthquakes that struck the country on June 24.
He said, “I say goodbye with you, my second national hymn… Venezuela, receive our love, our support and much strength to get through this moment,” and appealed to the international community to keep assisting families rebuilding their lives. D’León later posted a video of the moment on Instagram, reinforcing his call for ongoing aid.
