Oscar Isaac and director Elvira Lind collaborate on film projects

Actor Oscar Isaac and Danish director Elvira Lind are partners in both their personal and professional lives. The couple met in 2012 and married in 2017. They have two sons, Eugene and Mads, born in 2017 and 2019.

Professionally, the pair collaborates through their production company, Mad Gene Media, which is named after their children. Lind is an accomplished filmmaker whose work includes the documentary ‘Songs For Alexis’ and the short film ‘The Letter Room’, which received an Academy Award nomination in 2021. She also directed the documentary ‘King Hamlet’, which followed Isaac’s preparation for a 2025 production of ‘Hamlet’.

Isaac has received significant critical acclaim, including an Emmy nomination in 2026 for his performance in ‘Scenes From a Marriage’.
