Osijek to host 15th international model vehicle collectors meeting

The Autići association, a non-profit organization based in Osijek, Croatia, is hosting the 15th Memorial International Meeting of Collectors of Toy Cars and Other Vehicle Models ‘Željko Balat’ on September 12.

Founded in 2011 as the first club of its kind in Croatia, the association aims to promote technical culture through the study of vehicle history, the restoration of old models, and educational programs for children and youth. The club attracts members across a wide age range, from 3 to 70 years old, including collectors from various Croatian cities such as Zagreb, Split, and Zadar, as well as international members from Slovenia, Serbia, and Germany.

The upcoming event will showcase models of high collector value, aiming to demonstrate that miniature vehicle collecting is a sophisticated hobby rather than just a children's pastime. Attendees will have the opportunity to view diverse collections, meet collectors, and purchase specific models.
