Osijek to host fifth annual mental health run

The fifth anniversary of the ‘Run for Mental Health’ race will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Kopika site in Osijek. Organized to mark World Mental Health Day, the event aims to promote physical activity, community support, and open dialogue regarding mental health.

This year’s jubilee edition introduces a new 10-kilometer distance alongside the traditional 5-kilometer race. Organizers expect over 700 participants from the Osijek-Baranja County and other parts of Croatia. The event is described as one of the largest 5km races in the country.

The race is organized by the Center for Mental Health and Physical Activity of the Faculty of Philosophy in Osijek, the psychology student association Psihos, and the Run4Fun sports and recreation association.
