Osinachi Ohale joins Italian club Como 1907

Former Super Falcons defender Osinachi Ohale has joined the Italian club Como 1907 on a free transfer. The 34-year-old centre-back arrives following her departure from the Mexican side Pachuca, where she played 81 league matches and scored six goals over three years.

This move marks a return to Italian football for Ohale, who previously played for AS Roma in 2020. Having represented Nigeria for over 15 years and captained the national team, she is a five-time Women’s Africa Cup of Nations winner.

Como 1907 Women’s Technical Director Nils Nielsen praised the signing, noting that Ohale’s international experience, positional awareness, one-on-one marking, and aerial ability will strengthen the squad’s defence.
