Osisko Gold reports high-grade gold intercepts at Cariboo Project
Osisko Gold has announced significant drilling results from its Cariboo Gold Project in central British Columbia, Canada. During underground infill drilling in the Lowhee Zone, the company intercepted high-grade gold mineralization.
Key highlights from the 3,933-meter drilling program include an interval of 7.28 g/t Au over 16.15 meters at a vertical depth of approximately 105 meters. This specific interval included a high-grade section of 173.66 g/t Au over 0.60 meters. Another notable intercept recorded was 7.13 g/t Au over 11.60 meters at a depth of 61 meters.
Chris Lodder, President of Osisko Gold, stated that the ongoing infill drilling continues to strengthen confidence in the Lowhee Zone. He noted that sections found outside of modeled reserve stopes suggest potential for resource conversion and upward mineralization as underground development progresses into new zones.
