OSK Property begins construction on A$800m Aura tower in Melbourne

OSK Property and construction partner Multiplex have commenced work on the Aura tower, a 67-storey residential project located within the Melbourne Square precinct in Southbank, Melbourne. The development has a gross development value of approximately A$800 million.

The tower will feature 673 apartments, including studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, penthouses, and Mira Terraces, with prices starting at A$565,000. More than 140 units have been sold since the project's soft launch in the second quarter of 2026. Construction is targeted for completion in early 2030.

Aura represents the third residential stage of the A$3.5 billion Melbourne Square precinct, which is being developed by OSK Property in a joint venture with Malaysia’s Employees Provident Fund (EPF). The project will add roughly 1,800 square meters of retail space to the existing precinct, which already includes a supermarket, various shops, and a childcare centre. Resident amenities are expected to include a pool, gym, co-working spaces, and gardens inspired by Japanese design.
