Poland national football team faces crisis after Nations League loss

The Poland national football team is facing a period of crisis in the UEFA Nations League Division B following a 1:3 defeat to Sweden and a 0:0 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The team has failed to secure a victory in its last five matches, accumulating only one point in the current campaign.

Head coach Jan Urban has attributed the recent losses primarily to individual defensive errors. Despite the poor results, Urban has stated that he does not intend to resign, though he acknowledged that the squad's current potential may be lower than in previous years. The team's performance has drawn significant criticism from experts and fans alike, with calls for more reliance on younger players and domestic league performers.

Statistical projections suggest Poland has a low probability of direct promotion to Division A, with Sweden currently favored to win the group. The team's upcoming matches against Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be critical for their standing in the tournament.
