Oskar Pietuszewski sees market value rise amid sudden Poland call-up

Oskar Pietuszewski, the 18-year-old FC Porto player, has seen his market value rise significantly. According to the CIES Football Observatory, his estimated value has reached 60.7 million euros, surpassing his current release clause of 60 million euros. He currently ranks as the seventh most valuable player playing outside the top five leagues.

In recent developments, Poland national team coach Jan Urban has issued a sudden call-up for Pietuszewski to join the national team camp, replacing the injured Jakub Kamiński. This decision has drawn criticism from Portuguese media, specifically 'A Bola', which expressed concern over the player's fitness. Pietuszewski has only recently returned to training following an injury, and his departure for international duty is seen as a complication for FC Porto coach Ruben Amorim (Farioli) during a period where the club is already managing several international absences.
