oskar volunteer agency celebrates 10 years in Lichtenberg

The oskar volunteer agency (Freiwilligenagentur) in Lichtenberg is celebrating its tenth anniversary. The agency serves as a central hub for community engagement, providing more than just placement services.

Its functions include advising non-profit organizations on volunteer management, offering training and qualifications, and acting as a competence center for schools through ‘learning through engagement’ programs. The agency also provides coaching, personal consulting, and networking opportunities to connect engaged citizens with local organizations.

A celebration was held to mark the decade of service, attended by volunteers, supporters, former employees, politicians, and representatives from the Lichtenberg district office and the Stiftung Unionhilfswerk Berlin.
