Osleys Iglesias retains super middleweight titles via TKO

Cuban boxer Osleys Iglesias successfully defended his IBF and IBO super middleweight world titles with a seventh-round technical knockout (TKO) victory over Oliver Zaren in Quebec City, Canada.

Iglesias, who entered the bout with an undefeated record of 15-0, dominated the match from the opening round. During the sixth round, Iglesias scored two knockdowns. Although Zaren managed to continue after a medical examination, his trainer, former world champion Mikkel Kessler, chose to throw in the towel at the start of the seventh round to protect his fighter.

With this win, Iglesias improves his professional record to 16 wins and 15 knockouts. Following the bout, Iglesias expressed interest in unification matches, specifically mentioning potential future fights involving the WBC or WBA titles.
