Oslo-based professional skiing team debuts in Ski Classics

A new professional cross-country skiing team from Oslo, Team Recman Norgesexpo, is making its debut in the Ski Classics series this season. The team was established by a group of approximately 20 friends with roots in traditional cross-country skiing who developed a passion for long-distance racing after participating in major Ski Classics events.

Drawing from the development environment of Bygdø IL and Team Bygdø, the team utilizes experienced volunteers and contributors to support its operations. The long-term goal is to create a professional pathway for athletes from the Oslo region to pursue careers in long-distance skiing.

The roster consists of eight athletes: Petter Stokkeland, Gustav Heldal, Sander Berger, Torbjørn Rolstad, Fredrik Stenersen, Tirill Marie Moeller Gundersen, Sigrid Stakston, and Thea Sørum. Gustav Heldal serves as the Pro Team Director.
