Oslo: Fire breaks out in commercial and residential building

A fire broke out in a commercial building in the Høybråten area of Oslo on Sunday evening. The building, which contains a shop on the ground floor and residential apartments above, experienced visible flames and heavy smoke on the second floor.

Emergency services responded with seven fire engines and smoke divers. While firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, police advised local residents to keep their doors and windows closed. By approximately 19:11, authorities reported that there was no immediate danger of the fire spreading to neighboring buildings. Police have interviewed two residents to determine if anyone else was present in the building.
