Osman Arıkan Nacar denies involvement in financial investigation

Osman Arıkan Nacar, a former high-level Turkish bureaucrat and neurosurgeon, has addressed allegations linking him to a capital markets and fund investigation. Nacar, who previously held senior roles within the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, has denied any wrongdoing. Through his lawyers, he issued a statement on October 4, 2026, asserting that no judicial action has been taken against him and no formal charges have been filed.

Nacar’s name has recently surfaced due to his partnership in E-Data Teknoloji Pazarlama AŞ. Following a transfer of a 63.85% stake in the company in August 2026, Nacar and two other partners reportedly each hold a 21.28% share. His professional background includes serving as the Head of the Medical Devices Department at the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency and as Deputy Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
