Osman Arıkan Nacar faces allegations in stock market probe

Osman Arıkan Nacar, a former neurosurgeon and high-level bureaucrat who served in the Ministries of Health and Labor and Social Security, is facing allegations related to an ongoing stock market investigation. Claims have surfaced suggesting Nacar gained 20 billion TL through a fund, linked to his partnership in E-Data Teknoloji Pazarlama AŞ.

Nacar, who was a parliamentary candidate for the AK Party in 2015 and 2018, has denied the allegations. Through his lawyers on October 4, 2026, he issued a written statement asserting that no judicial action has been taken against him and no formal charges have been filed.
