Osmancık hosts 1st International Watercolor Festival

The 1st International Watercolor Festival was held in the Osmancık district of Çorum, Turkey, as part of the Pırlanta Pirinç Festivali events. The festival brought together 18 artists and academics from five different countries, including Turkey, Kosovo, Iran, Bulgaria, and Russia.

Participants used watercolor techniques to capture the historical and natural beauty of the region, focusing on landmarks such as the Beyler Çelebi Mosque, local bridges, rivers, and the town's traditional market areas. Artists noted that the area's natural light and greenery provided significant inspiration for their work.

The completed artworks have been delivered to the Osmancık Municipality to be displayed in upcoming exhibitions for the public.
