Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın addresses local infrastructure and producer support

Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın has been active in addressing local community needs and municipal governance in Bursa. During the September municipal council meeting, Aydın reported on ongoing services, including efforts to establish a health center in Nilüferköy and the potential opening of the Veysel Karani animal market once legal and zoning procedures are resolved. He emphasized that combating illegal construction remains a primary focus for the municipality.

Aydın has also prioritized supporting local producers. He visited the Yiğitali Women's Agricultural Development Cooperative to discuss the challenges faced by female producers and to advocate for infrastructure improvements, such as bringing natural gas to mountain villages.

Additionally, the municipality collaborated with DAĞDER to host the ‘Osmangazi Tarhana İmecesi’ project at Soğanlı Millet Bahçesi. This cultural initiative involved women preparing approximately 80 kilograms of traditional tarhana to preserve cultural heritage and support students in need.
