Osmangazi Media Academy launches training programs in Bursa
Osmangazi Municipality has launched the Osmangazi Media Academy in Bursa to develop the skills of young people interested in the media sector and provide qualified human resources to the industry.
The academy recently completed its first week of intensive training. The curriculum covered a wide range of disciplines, including news writing techniques, editing, presenting, announcing, camera operation, video editing, creative writing, and basic photography. Participants gained comprehensive knowledge regarding both on-camera and behind-the-scenes processes, such as news preparation, effective text creation, and visual language.
Instructors emphasized the importance of the program in sharing professional nuances and correcting misconceptions. Mehmet Ali Ekmekçi, an instructor for news writing and editing, noted that while the academy may not directly train journalists, it provides a significant opportunity for participants to learn the subtleties of the profession from experienced experts. Editing instructor Bahadır Erel also highlighted the program's value in guiding young people and those interested in the media sector.
