Osmangazi Municipality approves 2027 budget

The Osmangazi Municipality council has approved the 2027 fiscal year budget of 12,543,190,000 TL by a majority vote. The budget plan includes an estimated revenue of 11,773,190,000 TL, with a 770,000,000 TL net financing gap used to balance the accounts.

Mayor Erkan Aydın noted that unforeseen cost increases, specifically citing diesel prices rising from 50 TL to 100 TL, have impacted service and goods expenses. Despite these rising transportation costs, Aydın stated that the budget deficit remains at approximately 7 percent. The municipality aims to utilize the budget for urban transformation, various investments, and services to support the district's development.
