Osmangazi Municipality hosts international youth volleyball tournament

Osmangazi Municipality organized the Autumn Volleyball Tournament at the Dikkaldırım Sports Hall as part of the October 29 Republic Day celebrations. The event brought together young female athletes to promote sportsmanship and strengthen social bonds.

Four teams participated in the two-day competition: Osmangazi Belediyespor, TT 23 Nisan Sports Club, Başarı Sports Club, and Varna DKS Volleyball Club from Bulgaria. The inclusion of the Bulgarian club provided an international dimension to the tournament.

Following the matches, trophies and medals were presented to the participants by Fatih Karayılan, President of Osmangazi Belediyespor, and Kiril Kotsev, President of Varna DKS Volleyball Club. The event aimed to encourage children to engage in sports while celebrating the Republic Day through the universal language of athletics.
