Osmangazi Municipality hosts parenting workshop in Bursa
Osmangazi Municipality has organized the 'Read With Them' workshop as part of its Osmangazi95 Project. This initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Marmara Municipalities Union and the Local Government Academy, aims to support the mental and healthy development of children in the 0-3 age group.
The workshop took place at the Panorama 1326 Bursa Conquest Museum and was attended by ten parents and their children. Led by instructor Beste Büşra Kemer, the session focused on fostering early reading habits and strengthening the relationship between children and books.
Participants discussed common challenges parents face when reading to toddlers, such as children attempting to bite books or close pages prematurely. The interactive session demonstrated how books can be used as tools for discovery and play rather than just reading materials.
