Osmanlı Motosiklet Derneği supports young leukemia patient in Izmir

Members of the Osmanlı Motosiklet Derneği (Ottoman Motorcycle Association) provided moral support to 6-year-old Ali Tahir Akyol, a leukemia patient in Izmir, Turkey. After learning of the boy's passion for motorcycles through social media, the group gathered in front of Dokuz Eylül University Hospital with a banner reading, “Get well soon to our little brother, our prayers and our hearts are with you.”

Akyol, who received a bone marrow transplant following a recurrence of his illness, observed the group from his hospital window and waved to the members. The association presented him with a vest and a toy motorcycle. Association President Sedat Ertürk stated that the group could not ignore the child's love for motorcycles and wanted to offer support during his recovery.
