Osmo facade system used in new Oxford quarter housing project in Münster

Osmo Holz und Color GmbH & Co. KG supplied its Verto façade wood system for a five‑storey multi‑family building in the newly developed Oxford‑Quartier of Münster‑Gievenbeck. The structure, built in a wood‑hybrid method, is energetically optimised and certified by DGNB and QNG. Each floor is clad with European Douglas‑fir panels finished in varying shades of gray, creating a pronounced depth effect. The exterior coating is KEIM’s silicate paint Lignosil Verano, which is diffusion‑open, weather‑ and UV‑resistant.

The project demonstrates Osmo’s capability to deliver large‑scale, sustainable façade solutions for certified green construction in Germany.
