Oso Ighodaro agrees to $29 million extension with Phoenix Suns

Phoenix Suns center Oso Ighodaro has agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $29 million, according to reports from ESPN. The deal, confirmed by his agent Erika Ruiz, extends his tenure with the team through the 2030-31 season.

As part of the agreement, the Suns have exercised a $2.5 million option for the 2027-28 season. This ensures the 24-year-old remains under contract in Phoenix for the next five seasons at a controlled rate.

Originally selected 40th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft, the Arizona native has become a reliable presence for the Suns. In his most recent season, Ighodaro appeared in all 82 regular-season games, averaging 6.5 points and 5.1 rebounds in 22 minutes per contest while shooting 65.3% from the field.
