Osome expands AI‑startup services as Singapore attracts next wave of AI firms

Osome, an AI‑focused company‑management platform used by more than 50,000 tech founders, announced new tools to support AI startups establishing regional bases in Singapore. The Singapore government is bolstering its AI ecosystem with a S$300 million pledge from OpenAI, the creation of a new Kampong AI hub, a National AI Impact Programme and a 400 % tax deduction for qualifying AI investments. Osome’s service now lets founders incorporate a private limited company in as little as seven days and provides back‑office handling—including accounting, bookkeeping and compliance—across Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK and the UAE. The firm also launched its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini retrieve corporate data (transactions, shareholder records, financial reports) through a single interface. Early users report substantial time savings; founder Karan Dasgupta says the platform saves “easily 20 hours” each month, while other startups cut bookkeeping effort from a week to two hours. CEO Eugenio Ferrante said the new MCP server removes administrative drag, allowing tiny AI teams to operate globally from Singapore with just a laptop.
