OSP Ruda Śląska seeks volunteers for safety and first aid project

The Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) in Ruda Śląska is seeking new volunteers for a project running through the end of 2026. The initiative, titled ‘Volunteer Fire Department as a Local Center for Volunteering and Safety,’ is funded by the President of Ruda Śląska.

Participants will receive training in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators (AED), and general safety and occupational health (BHP) protocols. The program also covers the role of the OSP in the security system and basic rescue and firefighting operations. An information meeting for interested residents, particularly youth, is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, at the unit headquarters on Kard. Augusta Hlonda Street.
