Osservatorio Nazionale Miele launches L'Alveare parlante project

The Osservatorio Nazionale Miele has launched the operational phase of ‘L’Alveare parlante – Storie d’apicoltura e geografie dei mieli’, an environmental and educational project created by journalist Valentina Calzavara.

The project aims to select 20 beekeeping companies to showcase Italy’s territories, biodiversity, and beekeeping traditions through its honey production. The selection process is specifically targeted at companies participating in the 46th edition of the ‘Tre Gocce d’Oro – Grandi Mieli d’Italia’ competition, which is considered the most prestigious contest for selecting the best Italian honeys.

Giancarlo Naldi, Director of the Osservatorio Nazionale Miele, stated that the initiative is a step forward in communicating the quality of Italian honey and highlighting the ability of beekeepers to face increasing environmental and commercial challenges.
