Ossola Lakes tourist district hosts summer light and music festivals

The Ossola Lakes, Mountains and Valleys Tourist District in northern Piedmont, Italy, is hosting a series of summer events throughout August, featuring light, music, and traditional festivities.

In Baveno, the "Baveno e Feriolo d’Incanto" festival features a 50-meter water stage with musical fountains. Key highlights include a piano duo performance by Gelfini–Olzer on August 10 during the night of San Lorenzo, and a closing drone show scheduled for August 23.

In Verbania Pallanza, the "Sinfonia d’acqua e luce" program offers nightly fountain displays until August 11. Additionally, the 52nd annual Palio Remiero will take place on the night of August 14 in the Gulf of Borromeo, featuring illuminated rowing competitions and a fireworks display. Other local celebrations include the patron saint festival of San Vito in Omegna.
