Additionally, authorities in Ostia are investigating a suspicious explosion linked to local drug trafficking, resulting in the arrest of two individuals after crack was discovered hidden in a tree.
In Ischia, Carabinieri discovered a luxury resort built illegally in a high-risk landslide zone (R4). The structure utilized sophisticated camouflage, including vegetation nets and natural caves, to evade aerial and maritime detection. Four individuals have been reported for environmental and building violations.
Other reports include the discovery of flammable liquid hidden in the Scolacium Oasis in Squillace, raising concerns about potential arson. In Rome, the municipality has allocated funds for the cleanup and redevelopment of the Fosso della Cecchignola area following a series of severe fires near residential buildings.
