Ostrołęka: Father of school attack suspect found dead

The father of a 19-year-old suspect in a recent school attack in Ostrołęka has died. Krzysztof Z. was found dead in his apartment on Celulozowa Street after neighbors reported they had not seen him for several days.

Emergency services, including firefighters, entered the locked residence through a window. Preliminary findings from the District Prosecutor's Office in Ostrołęka suggest the death was a suicide, and investigators have not found evidence of third-party involvement at this stage.

The deceased was the father of Jakub Z., who is facing charges related to a violent attack at Vocational School Complex No. 4 on October 7. While the connection between the father's death and the school incident is being investigated, authorities have not yet established a direct link.
