Ostrów wins Podkarpackie Beautiful Village competition

Ostrów, located in the Radymno municipality, has been named the most beautiful village in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The village received top honors from both the official jury and internet voters during the annual competition.

The contest is part of the “My Smart Podkarpackie Village” operation and the broader Podkarpackie Village Renewal Program. Judges evaluated villages based on landscape, community initiatives, the use of new technologies, and solutions that improve the quality of life for residents. In this edition, the jury placed a high value on “smart villages.”

Other top performers included Górki in the Brzozów municipality, which took second place, and Ruda in the Radomyśl Wielki municipality, which took third. The competition saw significant global interest, with online votes cast from 40 different countries. The awards ceremony was held during the Podkarpackie Civic Forum in Rzeszów.
