Osun State Governor commissions Lagere Flyover in Ile-Ife

The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke have commissioned the newly completed Lagere Flyover Bridge in Ile-Ife. The project, which includes the dualisation of the Mayfair Roundabout-Palace Junction Road, was designed to ease traffic congestion in the Lagere area.

During the ceremony, the Ooni commended the governor for the infrastructure, noting that the project would facilitate the movement of goods and people while stimulating commercial activity in the ancient city. The Ooni described the developments as unprecedented for Ile-Ife.

Governor Adeleke used the occasion to urge residents and political supporters to maintain peace and avoid violence ahead of the upcoming August 15 governorship election. He called on citizens to use their votes to express their will and to remain vigilant in monitoring the electoral process.
