Osun State political attacks condemned by Adeleke campaign DG

Senator Lere Oyewumi, the Director General of the Imole Campaign Council and Osun West Senator, has condemned a series of attacks on the homes of Accord Party leaders in Osun State. The incidents occurred on the eve of the state governorship election.

Following reports of political violence and vandalism, Oyewumi conducted assessments of several affected residences in Ikire and Ikoyi. The targeted locations included the homes of Ambali Kondo, Owodunni Abiodun, Taofeeq Ajagun, Akinola Paul, Festus Adeyemo, Alhaji Lateef, and Nureni Owoade.

Oyewumi described the attacks as “unwarranted, cowardly, and completely unacceptable in a democratic society.” He urged the police to prosecute the perpetrators and emphasized that political differences should not lead to intimidation or the destruction of property.
