Osuna hosts inaugural Young Flamenco Women's Encounter

The first Young Flamenco Women's Encounter (I Encuentro Joven de Mujeres Flamencas) was held at the Casa de la Cultura in Osuna on September 25. Organized by the Peña Cultural Flamenca La Siguirilla in collaboration with the Osuna City Council, the event focused on showcasing new generations of female flamenco singers.

The performance featured five vocalists: Carmen de Utrera, Carmen Moreno, Ana Sierra, Carmela Gil, and María Jesús Bernal. They were accompanied by musicians Antonio Carrión, Cristian Cabello, Lito Espinosa, and Manuel Jero. The initiative aims to provide visibility to emerging female talent and integrate these voices into the local flamenco programming.
