Osvaldo Domínguez Dibb Stadium construction advances in Paraguay

Construction is underway for the Osvaldo Domínguez Dibb Stadium, the new home of Club Olimpia in Paraguay. The project, estimated to cost approximately USD 80 million, is designed to meet FIFA standards and is intended to host matches during the 2030 World Cup.

Recent inspections by CONMEBOL President Alejandro Domínguez and Olimpia officials confirmed that the project is following its established schedule. The stadium will have a capacity of 46,000 spectators, including roughly 9,000 seats distributed across 338 luxury boxes. The facility will feature two tiers, two giant screens, and covered stands.

To accommodate large-scale musical events and concerts, the infrastructure will include retractable seating. Additional amenities planned for the site include a parking lot for 800 vehicles, a Fan Fest, and the ‘Museo de la Gloria’. The goal is to host a test match during the first half of 2029, ahead of the 2030 tournament.
