Osvaldo Jaldo rejects Manzur alliance, confirms 2027 electoral formula

Tucumán Governor Osvaldo Jaldo has rejected any political agreement with Senator Juan Manzur regarding the 2027 provincial elections. Jaldo confirmed his intention to run for re-election alongside Miguel Acevedo, emphasizing that the ruling party's electoral formula is already defined.

Jaldo responded to Manzur's recent allegations of political pressure against leaders, stating he would no longer engage in disputes with the senator. He also dismissed potential legal challenges to his candidacy, encouraging opponents to formalize their bids through democratic processes.

Meanwhile, Lisandro Catalán, the La Libertad Avanza candidate for governor, has challenged Manzur to a public debate. Catalán requested that Jaldo also participate in the debate, accusing both leaders of being responsible for the province's deterioration. Catalán's strategy seeks to link Manzur and Jaldo within the same political framework despite their internal differences.
