Oswego County joins statewide impaired driving awareness campaign

Oswego County has joined a statewide high visibility engagement campaign to combat drunk and impaired driving during the Halloween season. The initiative, coordinated by STOP-DWI, aims to increase awareness and reduce the incidence of impaired driving to prevent injuries and save lives.

Oswego County STOP-DWI Coordinator David Hall emphasized the importance of having a sober plan, suggesting the use of the ‘Have a Plan’ mobile app to find safe transportation. Additionally, officials are urging drivers to remain alert for pedestrians and trick-or-treaters who may unexpectedly enter the roadway.
