The team advanced to the semifinals after defeating SUNY Potsdam in the first round and overcoming SUNY Oneonta 3-2 in the second round. During the victory against Oneonta, Liliana De Collibus and Kyla Sustad provided key offensive contributions, while goalkeeper Lucy Starzyk secured the win with a late save.

In the semifinal matchup against Cortland, Julia Carter scored the lone goal for the Lakers via a set-piece just before halftime. However, Oswego State struggled to maintain offensive momentum in the second half, ultimately falling to the top-seeded Red Dragons.
